Well so far, it looks like the blog is well received. I have changed the settings such that ANYONE can leave a comment now, versus only Google members (or whatever this special class of technosnobs is called...I don't know a lot of stuff like how to fix the settings on my blog page)
Of course, the quality of the blog is always a function of how well it is maintained. It's a bit presumptuous on our parts to assume you all want to know what we're up to, and I guess that's the problem I have with the whole blogging phenomenon. Like I really give a rat's ass what butterfly landed on your head today...I've got my own crap to deal with, right? But I suppose a lot of our friends want to know what we're up to, how the deuce are doing, blah blah blah, and this saves them the trouble of having to call us, and us the trouble of having to repeat the same story 35 times. It's efficient, you see....and arm's length, which is good for me, especially when I'm being a cranky pants, which is a lot.
So...as I write this, K-Fed is laying in bed (well it IS after 8pm, people!) being nauseous, after a rousing trip to Pei Wei, which SOMEONE just HAD TO HAVE FOR DINNER (the party to be left unnamed). I'm glad we can do the things she wants to do though. Of course, after getting in The Sweetness (that's what I call my car) and heading back to the dirt farm (our house), she immediately started feeling nauseous, only after lecturing me about my very loud gum chewing, which I must admit, is very loud as compared to the sound of small bits of pollen blowing around in the air or a feather gently falling to the ground. Gosh I am so obnoxious with this gum. It is so very loud.
How's Kelli? I hear this throughout my day, which is nice because the very nice people I work with are very concerned about her health and this is very very nice. I work with some really great people...no doubt. Well...let me tell you how Kelli is doing today.
Kelli is doing very well, but a bit nauseous. This nausea really only hits her at night, around 8pm, unless she brushes her tongue while she's brushing her teeth in the shower in the morning...if that happens, she goes into auto-puke mode which is really very hard to turn off. Also, if she takes her pregnancy vitamin (or "Horse Pill" as we call it) then she goes into nausea mode, but not auto-puke. Most people tell her, her doctor included, that if she eats something before she takes the Horse Pill then she won't become nauseous....and this works almost 0% of the time. What can I say? She is a puker.
She's also a bit sneezy lately. No idea why she's sneezy, but she is. Other than that, she's getting a "poochy belly" (my term), which, turns out, kinda looks like my "poochy belly" minus the disgusting forest of hair intertwined with t-shirt lint covering it.
Today she went to Sprouts, a new healthy organic grocery store close by where they have oats and granola and vegetables galore, and brought back a giant bag full of very healthy gummy bears, and a second very large bag of very healthy cinnamon gummy bears. She also brought home a large plastic container of healthy bagel chips, and some fruits and vegetables. As you can see, we pretty much cover the entire food pyramid at our house...fruits, vegetables, grains, and gummy bears.
Oh well...she LOVES those gummy bears. As long as they don't push the auto-puke button on the way down...she can eat all the GB's she wants.
Talk to you later. Thanks for stopping by.
PS, just thought I'd post a picture of Charles Brown (he insists that you call him "Charlie") for fun. He is the best dog at our dirt farm for sure!

David,
Thanks for brightening my day with your humor,a wonderful journey.
Have you tried ginger, ginger candy or smelling citrus peels. these things usually help with stomach issues. I am sorry for not having noticed that Kelli hasn't been feeling better since we are cube mates. This is a very cute blog and I anticipate the arrival of the Deuces:)
